It’s been just over three months since the Empowered Living Camp meeting that was held in Athens, TX. For those of you who are regular readers, you realize that I’ve pretty much been laying low these last few months. You know that I made the decision to stay off line as much as possible, in order to nurture a closer relationship with my family and with God.
Well, there have been a lot of changes here on the home front. I would love to tell you that all of them are good, but that’s not the case. I’m human, and I make mistakes, just like everyone else I know. I have been learning a lot, however, I still have a long way to go. One of the changes that has taken place is regarding my full-time employment. After much prayer, and seeking the Lord’s will, I stepped out in faith last month (June 19th to be exact), and left the factory job where I had been employed for most of the last 5 years. Suffice it to say that this was not an place that I was able to grow in spiritually, and I continued to find myself under attack from Satan in what had become the most overbearing and demeaning environments that I have ever worked in.
So, what am I doing now, you might ask? Well, I’m currently doing on-site tech support when I get a chance, as well as a ton of freelance writing. Because of these changes, obviously, I am online again in a much greater capacity. That being the case, I have decided to spend some quality time back on the ministry website each day, as the Lord leads. I am truly hoping that the Lord will continue to lead us and guide us into His will, and His ministry. Please continue to keep our family in your prayers.
Don’t forget to check back soon, as I’ll be posting a new study on the parable of the ten virgins very soon! Even better, you can subscribe to the blog via the RSS feed or the e-mail subscription box over on the left menu bar. Also, don’t forget to check the Podcast (top menu), as there will be some changes coming to that area very soon as well!
